New Jersey Insurer Launches Roadside Assistance Program

A New Jersey-based auto insurance provider recently announced that it will be launching a new roadside assistance program for its policy holders come June 27.

“With First Class Roadside Assistance, our customers can travel the country knowing that ‘we have their backs’ in the case of an emergency,” said Marc V. Buro, President of Teachers Auto Insurance Company of New Jersey.

He also added, “This package of benefits and services far surpasses traditional insurance company programs. We are thrilled to be able to bring this new benefit to our customers for free.”

According to the company, the new program provides for towing and lock-out services, car fluid delivery, and battery jump starts. Clients will also be assisted in securing lodging and transportation options if necessary.

The June 27 launch will give all clients of Teachers’ Insurance Plan of New Jersey added peace of mind especially during car trips. The company will also be removing its optional towing offers by Fall and policy holders who wish to be removed from the service at an earlier time can contact the provider.

The insurer’s new program is similar to the American Automobile Association’s roadside assistance service, which also provides members with crucial assistance in times of car trouble.

Buro also claimed that the firm is fast becoming the insurer of choice for New Jersey educators. “Teachers’ Insurance is fast becoming the car insurance company of choice for New Jersey educators,” he says.
